How to Sign apps for your Symbian phone (S60v3, S60v5 , S^3)

I decided to give a you step by step description of the signing process,
Because many of you guys were asking silly questions regarding this.
Actually speaking, you could've done everything by yourself if you did a few minutes of googling,
but I know you are lazy, just like many of us...

Unsigned apps are apps who haven't been certified by Nokia (cracked apps),
or
Other apps whose certificates have expired (very old softwares),
or
still others who may not have a trusted certificate at all (eg:sklchan mods) are also known to ahow this installation error.
such apps are usually free of cost,

In order to install them, we need to get them signed with a developers certificate for your phone
Because developers are known to understand the risks of installing unsigned software (actually there ain't any) for testing their own developed software which may be unsigned

So we first need to register at any site using your imei no. (you can check your imei no. on your phone by pressing*#06#)
For getting a developers certificate for your phone.

Go to this site first and register:
http://cer.opda.cn/en/index.php

here is the register page:
http://cer.opda.cn/en/index.php?module=index&action=register

It should look like this:

Fill it.
Once you've registered, log in and click on the large orange 'apply cer' button. Fill in your phone's details (you can find your IMEI number by typing in *#06#):

Wait for a few hours and then log back in to your account. Click on the 'My Certificate' link and check to see if your certificate is ready:
If it's ready, there'll be a big green tick. Now you can download your certificate and key files.

Things to note:

-  Posting your IMEI on the internet may be dangerous depending on where you live.
-  It may take several days before you receive your certificate, OPDA generate certificates for thousands of people per day.
-  You MUST keep the key file and certificate file safe as they're directly linked, I recommend emailing them to yourself or keeping them on some flash drives/memory cards.
-  This site may go offline sometime, so check after a few days if it does not open up like the above images, or any other method from the links posted below.

Download the .cer & .key files from there & save them
Once that is done you can also sign and install softwares  from your device using the "Free Signer 1.01.sis"
I have attached Free signer below.

Now how do you use it?

1.Open it, go to options

2.Go to settings>Sign Cert and add the .cer file that you downloaded,
3.Go to settings>Sign key and add the .key file that you downloaded,
4.Go to settings>Self Sign Cert and add the .cer file that you downloaded,
5.Go to settings>Self Sign key and add the .key file that you downloaded,

6.Select add task and add the file you want to sign.

7.Once that is done, select "Sign" or (Self Sign if you tried sign & it did not work)

8.GO!

Done.

You can also sign stuff from your PC using some tool like "Sign.sis tool.exe" or "GenialSiS.exe" (google it).
It is a bit faster than on device signing.

Now Im thinking that you would be smart enough to figure out how to sign them on your pc.
So Ive skipped instructions here, its basically the same process but on the PC.
(but once you have hacked your phone you wouldn't need to)

I think this is enough to put you out of your "certificate error" misery.

If you are still not able to get it right,

EDIT:
The opda has changed to:
http://www.shoujizu.net/en/

so here the registration process is the same, though youd have to wait for 3-5 bussiness days for your certificate if you do not donate...
Mind you you have to wait for a few days, you will get your certificate:

Here is my thread on getting the certificates within one day if you want to avoid waiting,
see this thread:
